Not many people understand just how significant being alive is and how important we are to the people and world around us. This is summed up perfectly in 'The Joneses Paradox' - an essential book about life and how easy it can be to choose to live a better life - in the following paragraphs extracted from the book:

'It was once joked by a well-known American comedian, that the odds of a person being born are 400 trillion to one. I thought this was a crazy number and took great pride in having overcome such odds to be here. Counting to 1 trillion would take 31,000 years at one number per second, without stopping or sleeping. To count to 400 trillion would take 12.4 million years.

As it happens, whilst 400 trillion to one is a staggering number, it seems that this is also a gross underestimation. According to an article in the Huffington Post, Dr Ali Binazir calculated the probability of existing at all was 400 quadrillion to the 150,000 power. That’s a ten followed by 2.64 million zeros. Neil deGrasse Tyson calculated that 100 quadrillion is the number of sounds and words ever uttered by all humans who have ever lived. Now multiply that by 400, and then multiply that number by 150,000. Whilst we may not fully appreciate it, that we exist at all is a miracle.'                                                 The Joneses Paradox

This is an amazing statistic. Read that again and take a moment to let it sink in. You are pretty much a miracle and what's more is that you are here for a reason!

But life is a constant balancing act; you fight to hold on and fight to let go. Once you make up your mind to LET GO of everything that is holding you back, you will begin to think, feel and live like the miracle that you are!

As daunting and as uncomfortable as it might seem, we must be prepared to let go of everything and everyone that is holding us back or pulling us down.  We must let go of what is familiar, known and comfortable to allow that which is not to take its place.  Only then will we start to receive results we have never had.

I have now come to appreciate this with a sense of grace and peace, although admittedly this hasn't always been the case.  I apply the same approach Marie Kondo uses in her 'Spark Joy' home tidying method to my actual life:  if any 'thing' or any 'one' doesn't spark joy, it's time to have the inevitable awkward conversations with myself, make some difficult decisions and do something about it, no matter how challenging

Rapid Transformational Therapy

It is vital to understand that the human mind is made up of two parts:  The conscious mind and the subconscious mind.  These two parts are not connected, they are independent of each other, they learn in different ways and have different functions. Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT®) deals with the subconscious mind. Here's why...

The Conscious Mind: What's most important is to realise about the conscious mind is that it is based on logic and controls our willpower.  Our conscious mind is creative and imaginative. The conscious mind learns and you can teach it new skills. It is what gives us our identity and makes us each unique. It is where we house our wishes, desires and aspirations.

We spend 5% of our day operating from our conscious mind!

making lasting change can only happen in the subconscious mind

The Subconscious Mind: Whereas the subconscious mind has little creativity.  It's where the habits and beliefs we have formed over our lifetime are stored.  It is where the effects of traumatic events we have experienced are imprinted.  It's is what controls our automatic body functions like breathing and blinking but also walking and driving.  Think of the subconscious mind as our very own bio-computer that has been hard-wired by ourselves and the things we have experienced and repeatedly do over our lifetime.  It instantly and automatically responds to life's events and circumstances without us needing to be conscious of it.

Naturally, we spend 95% of our day operating from our subconscious mind.

Why is this particularly helpful for us to know?  In the words of the legendary Bruce Lipton:  "everyday, when you get up, if you didn’t have a subconscious mind, you would have to relearn how to walk!"

... that's why the power of positive thinking alone will not work for most people

The subconscious mind is a million times more powerful than the conscious mind. If you want to make lasting change, it needs to begin here.

This is why we cannot rely on willpower (conscious mind) to change a life-long habit nor why the power of positive thinking alone is not sustainable.  This is especially true if you are suffering with unresolved issues from childhood trauma.

Because of the nature of our subconscious mind we will instinctively do what we have always done, inevitably getting what we have always got.  We will go through a perpetual 'rinse and repeat' cycle throughout our lifetime because this is what is hard-wired in our subconscious minds programming. Reinforcing any self-sabotaging behaviours or negative critical thinking which is what leads to destructive results.

“There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.”

Maya Angelou

The subconscious mind is like a song on repeat - until we change the song, we will not change. The only way to change our stored beliefs, habits and programming is to adjust what is held in our subconscious mind.  RTT® is phenomenal in doing just this and is where I come in...

Rapid Transformational Therapy® (RTT®) is an outcome-based hypnotherapy process that works by accessing and communicating with the subconscious mind whilst in a deeply relaxed theta brain wave state.

The operative technique is timeline regression, finding buried memories using cognitive hypnosis.

RTT® targets the specific root cause; the reason why we think how we think, do what we do and believe what we believe.  RTT® rewires new neural pathways which replace any outdated programmes, limiting beliefs, traumatic events, and life-long habits held in our subconscious mind.

"I came away feeling I have been given permission to get on with my life"

"I feel so much more balanced and in control"

The RTT® session is a significant step in the transformation process as it provides a powerful level of awareness and deep understanding of ourselves; the experiences faced, beliefs formed, habits instilled, and most importantly why they exist.  This alone is often quite literally life-changing.

"I regained the ambition and passion I'd lost"

60% of the transformation process is done during the RTT® session itself.  The rest comes afterwards. After the age of 7 years the mind works by repetition (habits), so by listening to a personalised hypnosis audio recording every night as you drift off to sleep and every morning as you are beginning to wake, whilst you are in theta brain wave state, you will access your mighty subconscious mind to create new neural pathways and replace old limiting belief and behaviours with new empowering ones.

Getting technical

Developed by Marisa Peer, RTT® is a pioneering therapy that harnesses the most powerful potential on the planet - the mind.  RTT® combines the most beneficial principles of Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy, NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and Neuroscience to offer unparalleled fast, effective, and long lasting results.

By rewiring the neural pathways of the brain, RTT® replaces our outdated belief systems and negative behavioural patterns  delivering extraordinary, lasting change from physical, emotional and psychological pain.  By re-framing our core beliefs, values, habits and emotions that are deep in the subconscious, using the process of RTT®, new life-affirming beliefs are formed and the healing process begins.
